BWF is calling for nominations for the election for the Para Badminton Athletes’ Commission elections 2025.

Elections will take place on 14 – 16 November 2025.

The term of the current Para Badminton Athletes’ Commission (2021- 2025) ends at the end of the year.

BWF will announce the list of candidates on Friday 5 September 2025.

The elections will be held electronically. Para badminton players must first register to vote. This will take place betwen5 September and 9 November. Registered voters have 48 hours to cast their vote between 14 – 16 November 2025.

About the Commission

• 6 positions
• 4-year term – Para Badminton Athletes’ Commission (2025 – 2029).
• The new Commission elects the Chair and Deputy Chair.
• The Chair (after the vetting process) becomes a BWF Council member (2025 – 2029).
